Ferocious!  No other word describes the cutting ability of this 100% CNC ground two flute 55 degree hi-helix end mill. This end mill is specially designed for the high speed milling of aluminum. It has a circular land that keeps it from squealing, which allows for maximum feed rates and surface footage. Additionally, this end mill offers better shearing action, vertical chip ejection, and longer tool life.

Available in 16% micrograin carbide for increased wear resistance, uncoated or "silver" (CRC) coating. Tolerances of +0, -.0005 on the cutting and shank diameters.  Available in sizes from 1/8" to 1", metric sizes are also available.

This end mill "Storms into Production" by cutting titanium, iconel, steel alloys, stainless steels and other tough to mill materials with ease!  100% CNC manufactures in both the 10% and 16% micrograin carbide, thereby broadening its range of applications.  It is available in diameters from 1/8" to 1", metric sizes, special diameters, standard and extra flute length.  Tolerances are +0, -.0005 and +0, -.002 on the shank sand cutting diameters respectively.  These end mills are dead sharp, with eccentric relief on the OD, center cutting and come standard with right hand spiral, right hand cut.  However, left hand spiral, right hand cut, standard and extra length end mills are available upon request. The Three Flute 60 degree comes uncoated, coated with TiN (gold, CRC (silver), or CN bronze, depending on the application and material to be cut.

This end mill transfers side stress vertically (less spindle side load) to eliminate deflection at faster speeds and feeds. It is an excellent end mill for slotting and radial milling.  C.G.S. recommends ramping or peck plunging. We do not recommend using this end mill for straight plunging.
