Product Overview

The CGS Tool CR2006.020 is a 1/4" diameter 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill. It's built for high-speed aluminum, non-ferrous, and plastic machining where edge strength matters as much as feed rate. It's part of the Ferocious 2000 series, designed for shops running it hard at extreme chip loads.
This tool carries the original 55° high helix geometry that defines the Ferocious line, giving it strong chip evacuation and a smoother cut at higher RPMs. The .020" corner radius adds extra edge support over a square-end profile, helping it hold up better on roughing passes and contact-heavy cuts. It ships uncoated, which keeps the cutting edge sharp for shops that prefer a bare carbide finish or plan to add their own coating later.

  • Series: CGS Ferocious 2000
  • Part No: CR2006.020

Key Performance Features:

  • 2-flute, 55° high helix, built around aluminum and non-ferrous machining
  • That .020" radius backs up the edge through tougher roughing cuts
  • Runs at high chip loads and feed rates per tooth without strain
  • Chip evacuation stays strong, which keeps built-up edge from creeping in
  • Handles roughing, slotting, and contouring without swapping tools
  • Bare carbide finish, ready for a custom coating if the job calls for it
  • Works across aluminum, copper, brass, non-ferrous metals, composites, and plastics
