EF-5 Tornado 45000 Series

An EF-5 Tornado, or 45000 series end mill from CGS Tool is a high-performance end mill designed for machining a variety of materials, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and plastics. The EF-5 Tornado is design with several features built for demanding application including five flutes that helps distribute cutting forces more evenly, reducing vibration while improving chip evacuation, a square end which can be used for machining operations such as slotting, profiling and facing and a high helix that helps with a more efficient chip evacuation while reducing heat build-up. The 45000 Series is considered a Super Finisher which helps to improve the tool’s wear-resistance and lubricity.
