Product Overview
The CGS Tool 1015 is a 7/16" diameter 4-flute solid carbide square end mill built specifically for heavy roughing and slot milling where material removal rate matters more than anything else. It belongs to the Beast 1000 Series, CGS Tool's dedicated roughing line.
What sets this tool apart is the exclusive chip breaker design ground into the flutes, which breaks chips into smaller segments as they form instead of pulling long, heat-loaded ribbons. That cuts spindle load and lets you push feeds harder than a conventional 4-flute tool could handle. Paired with a variable helix to fight chatter, the 1015 holds up through steels, stainless, cast iron, titanium, superalloys, Inconel, and select non-ferrous materials.
