Product Overview

So the CGS Tool 140-3438-ALTiN is basically an 11/32" diameter 4-flute solid carbide square end mill made for general-purpose roughing and finishing work. It’s good for slots, part profiles, plunge cuts, and also for clean flat-bottom stuff without a fuss.
Then the ALTiN coating adds heat and wear resistance when cutting gets more demanding, and with that 7/8" length of cut, 2-1/2" overall length, plus a 30° helix angle, this 140 Series cutter delivers pretty reliable square-end results across a lot of CNC materials.
