Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2002 has a 5/32” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill, made for max material removal plus a clean surface finish on the materials like aluminum, other non-ferrous metals, and plastics. The tool is a part of the Ferocious Series, so it’s aimed at machinists who want big time performance, even when you’re running those extreme feed rates.
Built with premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2002 comes with a 55° high helix, mainly for chip clearing that stays smooth, less cutting force, and pretty outstanding surface quality. You get polished cutting edges and a free-cutting style too, which helps lower built-up edges, while still keeping excellent tool life, even when the job is high-speed CNC work.
