The CGS Tool 2503 is in 3/16” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made for really maximum material removal plus surface precision, especially in aluminum, non ferrous metals and plastics. It’s part of the ferocious series, so it’s aimed at machinists that want top tier results when they’re running at extreme feed rates, and faster than you might expect.
Built from premium sub micro grain carbide, the 2503 has a 55° high helix, for better chip evacuation and reduced cutting forces, plus that nice kind of surface finish you’re chasing. The polished cutting edges and that free-cutting geometry help keep built-up edges under control while still holding up a strong tool life, even for demanding high-speed CNC jobs.
