The CGS Tool 2506 has a 1/4” diameter 2 flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made for max material removal plus really tight surface accuracy in aluminum , non ferrous metals, and plastics. It comes from the Ferocious Series, and it’s intended for machinists who expect top level output even when they push it at extreme feed rates, you know.
Built from premium sub micro grain carbide, the 2506 has a 55° high helix angle, so chip evacuation gets better, cutting forces stay lower, and the surface finish comes out really clean. The polished cutting edges and free cutting style help reduce built-up edge while still keeping an exceptional tool lifespan, even when it’s running high speed CNC work.
