The CGS Tool 420-5000 is this 1/2" diameter 2-flute solid carbide square end mill , it has a double-end design too, and it is really meant for general purpose milling where clean square-ends cutting and longer tool life of both show up in the shop’s bottom line.
It comes with a 5/8" length of cut and a 3" overall length, and the 420 Series cutter tends to stay steady when you’re doing slots, profiles, plunge cuts ,and side wall work. Also the uncoated carbide body makes it a sensible pick for normal CNC shop conditions across mild steels, stainless, cast iron, titanium, and non-ferrous metals too, plus plastics and composites.
