Product Overview
The CGS Tool BN2001 has a 1/8” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide ball end mill. It is made for high speed machining on aluminum, copper, brass, plastics, composites, and other non-ferrous stuff. It sits inside the BN2000 Series, yep, the Ferocious line and it’s meant to bring strong cutting performance, nicer surface finishes and faster material removal when you’re doing demanding CNC milling jobs.
Built from premium solid carbide, the BN2001 uses CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, it helps with rapid chip evacuation, lowers cutting forces a bit, and keeps the whole process smoother. The precision-ground ball nose shape is great for 3D contouring, profiling, and weird complex surface machining where you still want clean detail and finish. Since the cutting edges are uncoated, they’re optimized for aluminum and other non-ferrous materials, so you get less material buildup, while still keeping a sharp, steady cutting action.
