Product Overview

The CGS Tool BN2012 comes in a 5/16” diameter 2-flute solid carbide ball end mill meant for high-speed machining, especially for aluminum non-ferrous metals plastics and composites. It’s part of the BN2000 Series Ferocious and honestly it tends to give solid material removal rates, smooth looking surface finishes, and dependable day-to-day performance when you’re running CNC milling jobs that are kind of demanding.
Made from premium solid carbide, the BN2012 has CGS Tool’s own original 55° high helix geometry for faster chip evacuation and lower cutting forces, even when you push it. The precision-ground ball end style works well for contouring, profiling and 3D surface machining, while the uncoated cutting edges help reduce material buildup, so you keep cleaner cutting performance in aluminum and other non-ferrous materials too.
