Product Overview
The CGS Tool BN2036 comes in a 1/2” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide ball end mill made for high speed machining on aluminum, other non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites. It’s listed as part of the BN2000 Series Ferocious and well… it tends to give excellent material removal rates, smooth surface finishes, and dependable performance even when the CNC milling gets demanding.
Built from premium solid carbide, the BN2036 uses CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry for more efficient chip evacuation, and also for reduced cutting forces. The precision ground ball end form, works nicely for contouring profiling, and 3D surface work, while the uncoated cutting edges help minimize material buildup, so you get cleaner cutting action in aluminum and several other non ferrous materials.
