Product Overview
The CGS Tool CR2003.060 comes in a 3/16” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, meant for fast-speed machining on aluminum and other non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites. It comes as part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, so you get better edge durability , plus smoother surface finishes and dependable results for precision CNC milling, even when tolerances are strict.
Built from premium solid carbide, the CR2003.060 uses CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, which helps with chip evacuation and tends to lower cutting forces. The corner radius profile is there to add rigidity to the cutting edge, reduce chipping, and also raise surface finish quality, all while staying stable during high-speed machining situations. The uncoated cutting edges are tuned for clean, controlled cuts in aluminum and basically the other non-ferrous workpieces.
