The CGS Tool CR2033.020 is a 1/2” diameter,2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill made for high speed machining in aluminum,non-ferrous metals, plastics and composites. It comes in the CR2000 Series Ferocious lineup, so it tends to push strong cutting results, better edge stamina, and a nice consistent surface finish during precision CNC milling work.
Built from premium solid carbide, the CR2033.020 includes CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, which helps with efficient chip evacuation , and also lowers the cutting forces. The corner radius style gives extra rigidity to the cutting edge, helps reduce chipping, and tends to boost surface finish quality while staying steady in fast cutting situations. Also, the uncoated cutting edges are tuned for clean cuts in aluminum and other non-ferrous materials.
