The CGS Tool MX743-5000.015 is basically a 1/2” diameter 4-flute solid-carbide corner radius end mill, made for high performance cutting stuff, especially when you’re dealing with hardened steels, stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, Inconel, Hastelloy and other pretty exotic alloys. And yeah since it’s part of the VMAX MX743 Series , it tends to bring really strong machining stability along with a nicer surface finish, plus longer tool life even when the CNC milling job gets tough.
Now the MX743-5000.015 has this more advanced variable helix , plus variable pitch geometry, and that combination helps reduce chatter and those cutting harmonics, so you get smoother passes and better material removal efficiency. The nACRo coating is the premium “high performance” type, it gives strong heat resistance and wear protection, while the .015” corner radius supports the cutting edge, improving edge strength and durability.
