This 4-flute square end mill comes from the Beast 1000 Series, CGS Tool's dedicated roughing line, and it's aimed at shops running heavier material removal than a standard 140 or 120 Series tool would handle comfortably.
ALTiN coating adds heat and wear resistance for demanding cuts, and the exclusive chip breaker design ground into the flutes helps reduce spindle load by breaking chips into smaller segments rather than pulling long ribbons. Paired with a variable helix to fight chatter, the 1009-ALTiN supports faster feeds across steels, stainless, cast iron, titanium, alloys, Inconel, and select non-ferrous materials.
