The CGS Tool 140-5001-ALTiN is a 1/2" diameter 4-flute solid carbide square end mill built for general-purpose roughing and finishing where a shop needs one tool that can handle both stages of a job. Slots, profiles, plunge cuts, and clean flat-bottom work all fall within its capability.
The ALTiN coating adds heat and wear resistance during tougher machining conditions, and with a 1-1/4" length of cut, 3" overall length, and 30° helix, this 140 Series cutter delivers dependable square-end performance across mild steels, stainless, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites.
