The CGS Tool 2015, has a 5/16” diameter with a 2-flute solid carbide square end mill, made for maximum material removal and sharp surface precision on aluminum, non-ferrous metals and plastics. It’s from the ferocious series, so it’s pretty much for machinists who want high performance at extreme feed rates, even when things get hectic.
Built from premium sub-micro grain carbide , the 2015 comes with a 55° high helix, which helps with chip evacuation, lowers cutting forces and gives a strong surface finish. The polished cutting edges and that free-cutting geometry help minimize built-up edges, while still keeping the tool life exceptional, even during high speed CNC use.
