The CGS Tool 2015-S has a 5/16” in diameter , 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It is set up for maximum stock removal and some serious surface precision on aluminum, non-ferrous metals , and plastics. It comes from the ferocious series, so it’s basically for machinists who want high output even when they’re running at extreme feed rates.
Made with premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2015-S includes a 55° high helix so chip clearing goes easier, cutting forces stay lower, and the surface comes out really smooth. Its polished cutting edges and free-cutting form help keep built-up edges down, while still holding up a great tool life , even in high speed CNC work.
