Product Overview
The CGS Tool CR2036.060 is a 1/2” diameter 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill ,built mainly for fast high-speed machining on aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites. It’s part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious line, so it really gives strong cutting action ,better edge endurance, and pretty steady surface quality for precision CNC milling.
Made from premium solid carbide, the CR2036.060 uses CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry ,so chips get out of the cut more efficiently and the cutting forces stay lower. The corner radius layout kind of reinforces the cutting edge, helps curb chipping ,and lifts the surface finish quality—while it still stays stable in those high-speed machining conditions. The cutting edges are uncoated, and they’re tuned for cleaner cutting in aluminum, plus other non-ferrous materials.
