Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2033-S has a 1/2” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made to do maximum metal removal plus surface precision, especially in aluminum non-ferrous metals and plastics. It comes from the ferocious series, so it's intended for machinists who want top tier performance at these extreme feed rates, not just “good enough”.
Built using premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2033-S has a 55° high helix, helps with better chip evacuation, lowers cutting forces, and leaves a really clean surface. The polished cutting edges and the free-cutting shape work together to reduce built-up edge, and at the same time keep a strong tool life, even when you run high speed CNC work.
