Product Overview
The CGS Tool CR2033.125-S is a 1/2” diameter 2-flute solid carbide corner-radius end mill, built up for fast speed machining on aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites. Being in the CR2000 Series Ferocious line, it’s meant to give solid cutting ability , better edge staying power, and very good surface finishes for precision CNC milling jobs.
Made from high grade solid carbide, the CR2033.125-S has CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, so chips clear out cleanly and the cutting loads stay lower. The corner radius setup helps with overall durability too, because it drops the stress concentration at the cutting edge, which in turn reduces chipping and keeps the finish quality more consistent. On top of that, the ZrN coating boosts wear resistance, helps limit built-up edge, and tends to stretch tool life, especially in aluminum and other non-ferrous materials.
