The CGS Tool CR2033.125 is a 1/2” diameter 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, made for fast, high-speed machining on aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and even composites, not just one kind of material. As part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, it sort of pushes strong cutting action, better edge toughness, and consistent surface finishes when you’re doing precision CNC milling, which is kind of the whole point.
Made from premium solid carbide, the CR2033.125 uses CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, for more efficient chip evacuation, and reduced cutting forces too. The corner radius shape helps reinforce the cutting edge, it lowers chipping risk, and it boosts surface finish quality, all while still keeping steady performance in those high-speed machining conditions. The uncoated cutting edges are tuned for clean cutting in aluminum and other non-ferrous materials, without extra coating interference or anything like that.
