The CGS Tool CR2039.090-S is a 1/2” diameter, 2 flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, made for fast machining on aluminum, non ferrous metals, plastics, and also composite materials. It sits within the CR2000 Series Ferocious lineup and it’s meant to give strong cutting results, better edge staying power, and a cleaner surface finish, especially when you’re running tough CNC milling setups.
Made out of top tier solid carbide, the CR2039.090-S includes CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix shape, which helps with chip evacuation and tends to lower cutting forces. That geometry also gives a smoother run when you push higher feed rates. The .090" corner radius, i mean it reinforces the cutting edge, and that helps reduce chipping while stretching overall tool life. Plus the ZrN coating boosts wear resistance, limits built-up edge growth, and it improves machining behavior in aluminum and other non ferrous stuff.
