Product Overview

The CGS Tool 2569-S has a 1” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made for fast machining on aluminum, copper, brass, plastics, composites and other non-ferrous kinds of work. It’s part of the high performance 2500 Series Ferocious lineup, and somehow it blends extended reach with an aggressive cutting layout and some upgraded coating tech so you can push material removal rates higher while still getting good machining efficiency on demanding CNC jobs.
Built from premium solid carbide, the 2569-S comes with CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry, it helps with chip evacuation a lot, it also cuts down the cutting forces, and it keeps the whole process running smoother. Plus, that extended 7-inch overall length gives extra reach for deep cavities, pockets, and those hard to reach features that always seem to show up at the worst time. The ZrN (Zirconium Nitride) coating is meant to minimize material adhesion, reduce built-up edge, and improve wear resistance. So overall, it tends to be especially effective for aluminum and other non-ferrous materials, letting machinists run aggressive feed rates and high spindle speeds while still holding onto excellent surface finishes and good dimensional accuracy.
