Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2569 has a 1” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made for high speed machining of aluminum, copper, brass, plastics, composites and other non-ferrous materials. It’s part of the well proven 2500 Series Ferocious line, and it’s built to keep giving strong material removal rates, pretty aggressive feed speeds, and dependable performance in tough CNC jobs, especially when extended reach is needed.
Made from premium solid carbide the 2569 has CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry, this helps a lot with chip evacuation, keeps the cutting forces lower, and adds machining stability. The free-cutting style design lets you run higher chip loads and feed rates per tooth, so machinists can push productivity up while still landing with excellent surface finishes. With a longer 7-inch overall length, it’s a solid pick for deep-pocket work, cavity machining, and any job that requires more reach without losing cutting efficiency. The uncoated cutting edges are tuned for aluminum and non-ferrous work, which helps reduce built up edge, and supports clean, accurate cuts.
