The CGS Tool CR2067.090-S is this 1" diameter kinda 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill that is made for high-performance machining on aluminum, non ferrous metals, plastics and composite materials. And as part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious , it brings pretty impressive cutting efficiency, better edge staying power, and a steady surface finish quality for tough CNC milling work.
Made from top tier solid carbide, the CR2067.090-S has CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, which is aimed to help with chip evacuation, lower cutting forces, and also handle aggressive feed rates without too much drama. That .090" corner radius, sort of beefs up the cutting edge, which helps minimize chipping , and keeps tool life longer, while still keeping dimensional accuracy right where you need it. It also comes with an extended 2-1/2" length of cut, plus a 5" overall length, so you get that extra reach for deep pocketing, contouring and slotting jobs. The ZrN coating supports wear resistance, reduces built-up edge formation, and generally improves machining performance in aluminum and other non ferrous materials.
