Product Overview

The CGS Tool CR2067.030-S is a 1" diameter 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill , made for high performance machining in aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composite materials. And as part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, it tends to bring you cutting efficiency, better edge durability, and a pretty consistent surface finish , especially when you’re running demanding CNC milling jobs.
Made from premium solid carbide , the CR2067.030-S has CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, which is aimed at maximizing chip evacuation, lowering cutting forces, and supporting those aggressive feed rates you actually want. The .030" corner radius kind of locks in the cutting edge, which helps minimize chipping, and stretches tool life while still keeping tight dimensional accuracy. You also get an extended 2-1/2" length of cut, plus a 5" overall length, so it has that nice reach for deep pocketing, profiling, and slotting work. The ZrN coating, in the practical sense, improves wear resistance, helps reduce built-up edge formation, and boosts machining performance in aluminum and other non-ferrous materials.
