Product Overview
The CGS Tool CR2030.015-S is a 1/2” diameter 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, made for high speed machining on aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics and composites, it just works. And as part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, this little cutter brings a strong cutting bite, better edge durability, and really nice surface finishes for precision CNC milling use.
Built from premium solid carbide, the CR2030.015-S has CGS Tool original 55° high helix shape, so chips clear out more efficiently and cutting forces stay lower. The corner radius style kind of reinforces the cutting edge, it helps cut down on chipping, and it keeps surface finish consistency steadier during those high speed passes. Then the ZrN coating steps in too, boosting wear resistance, reducing built-up edge buildup, and extending tool life especially in aluminum, plus other non-ferrous work.
