The CGS Tool CR2039.125-S is a 1/2” diameter , 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill built for high-speed machining of aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composite stuff. And it’s part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious line, so it tends to offer standout cutting results, extra durability, and a very clean surface finish when you’re doing tougher CNC milling tasks.
Made with top quality solid carbide, the CR2039.125-S has CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, which helps with fast chip evacuation, lowers cutting forces, and keeps things running at higher feed rates. The .125" corner radius also adds more edge strength, so it helps reduce chipping and supports a longer tool life, while still keeping good dimensional accuracy. Then there’s the ZrN coating, which gives extra wear resistance, cuts down on built-up edge formation, and improves overall performance when you machine aluminum and a bunch of other non-ferrous materials too.
