Product Overview

The CGS Tool CR2039.125 is a 1/2” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill meant for high-speed machining of aluminum, non ferrous metals, plastics, and even composite materials. Kind of like part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, this tool gives strong cutting output, better edge resilience, and a really clean surface finish in tough CNC milling jobs that don’t really slow down.
Made from solid carbide that’s top tier, the CR2039.125 comes with CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry. That helps with chip evacuation, it lowers cutting forces, and it keeps the cut steadier when you run higher feed rates. The .125" corner radius also adds strength right at the cutting edge, which reduces edge chipping, supports longer tool service life, and keeps the cutting habits consistent over time. And the uncoated build is tuned for clean, efficient machining of aluminum, plus other non ferrous materials too.
