The CGS Tool 2027 has a 7/16” diameter, 2 flute solid carbide square end mill. It is meant for maximum material removal and also nice surface precision, especially in aluminum and other non ferrous metals, plus plastics. It comes from the ferocious series, so it is aimed at machinists who want high performance at those extreme feed rates.
Made from premium sub micro grain carbide, the 2027 has a 55° high helix, which helps a lot with chip evacuation, it lowers cutting forces, and it gives a really clean surface finish. The polished cutting edges and that free cutting geometry help minimize built up edges too, while still keeping exceptional tool life, even when you run high speed CNC jobs.
