Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2027-S has a 7/16” diameter 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made to push maximum material removal, but also keep surface precision nice and sharp in aluminum, non-ferrous metals and plastics. It comes out of the ferocious series and it is meant for machinists who really need high performance even when the feed rates are at the extreme.
Made from a premium sub micro grain carbide, the 2027-S has a 55° high helix, so you get better chip evacuation, less cutting pressure. You also get really good surface finishes. The cutting edges are polished and the free-cutting geometry helps reduce built-up edges while still holding up an excellent tool life, even for high-speed CNC work where things get kinda intense.
