Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2051 is this 5/8” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill made for maximum material removal, and that sharp surface precision in aluminum non ferrous metals and plastics. From the ferocious series it’s tuned up for machinists who want top performance at extreme feed rates and fast cutting.
Made from premium sub micro grain carbide, the 2051 has a 55° high helix, for better chip evacuation, lower cutting forces, and really nice surface finishes. The polished cutting edges plus its free-cutting geometry help reduce built-up edges. At the same time it keeps strong tool life even during high-speed CNC work, where everything is moving pretty quick.
