The CGS Tool 2051-S has a 5/8” diameter, 2 flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made to push maximum material removal yet still keep a real tight surface precision especially in aluminum, non ferrous metals and plastics . It’s from the ferocious series and it’s aimed at machinists who want high performance, even when you’re running at extreme feed rates, like all the time.
Made using premium sub micro grain carbide, the 2051-S has a 55° high helix that helps with chip evacuation, lowers cutting forces and brings that standout surface finish you actually care about. The polished cutting edges plus the free cutting geometry works to reduce built up edge, while also keeping exceptional tool life. This stays true even when you throw it into high speed CNC work.
