Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2501 is a 1/8” diameter 2-flute solid carbide square end mill , made for max material removal and that surface precision thing in aluminum, non ferrous metals and plastics. It’s from the ferocious series. So it’s for machinists who want high performance even when they’re running super hard feed rates, like extreme speeds and the usual pressure.
Made with premium sub micro grain carbide, the 2501 includes a 55° high helix for better chip evacuation, less cutting force and really clean surface results. The polished cutting edges plus the free cutting geometry help keep the built-up edge under control. Tool life stays strong too, even when you’re using high speed CNC work and doing it day after day.
