Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2504 has a 3/16” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made for maximum material removal, plus that surface precision thing in aluminum , non-ferrous metals, and plastics. It comes from the ferocious series, so it’s aimed at machinists who need high performance when running at extreme feed rates.
Made using premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2504 has a 55° high helix , for better chip evacuation and less cutting load, while still giving a really clean surface finish. The polished cutting edges, along with a free cutting geometry, helps cut down on built-up edge without giving up tool longevity , even for high speed CNC jobs.
