Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2504-S has a 3/16” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made for maximum material removal plus surface precision, especially in aluminum, non-ferrous metals and plastics. And it comes from the Ferocious Series, so it’s for machinists who need really high performance, even when you’re running extreme feed rates.
Made from premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2504-S has a 55° high helix, which helps with chip evacuation, cuts down on the cutting forces, and it also gives you really clean surface finishes. The polished cutting edges plus its free-cutting geometry help reduce built-up edges, but still keep a strong tool life, even during high-speed CNC work.
