The CGS Tool M2106-S is a 6mm diameter , 2 flute solid carbide square end mill built for high speed machining of aluminum , non ferrous metals, plastics, and composite materials. As part of the 2000 Series Ferocious, this high performance cutting tool gives you solid chip evacuation, pretty aggressive material removal rates, and dependable machining operation when you’re doing tough CNC milling runs.
Made from premium solid carbide , the M2106-S has CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry, sort of tuned to encourage chip flow, cut down cutting forces, and keep things moving at high feed rates. The square end design gives clean accurate cuts and it works well for slotting, pocketing, profiling, contouring, and finishing tasks. With its 19mm length of cut and 63mm overall length you get more reach while still holding onto great rigidity and machining stability. Also the advanced ZrN coating boosts wear resistance, helps limit built up edge formation, and supports stronger cutting performance when machining aluminum and other non ferrous materials.
