Product Overview

The CGS Tool CR2018.015-S, is a 3/8” diameter 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill made for high-speed machining of aluminum, non ferrous metals, plastics, and composites. And as part of the CR2000 Series, it’s in the Ferocious line, you get better edge strength, smoother surface finishes, and more steady performance when you do precision CNC milling stuff.
It’s manufactured out of premium solid carbide and the CR2018.015-S has CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, which helps with chip evacuation, and also means less cutting forces during the job. The corner radius shape supports durability too, because it spreads out stress concentration at the cutting edge, so you see less chipping and the finish quality tends to hold up better. Also the ZrN coating, that part boosts wear resistance, reduces built-up edge, and it helps extend tool life particularly in aluminum and other non ferrous materials.
