Product Overview
The CGS Tool CR2006.060-S is a 1/4” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill made for high speed machining on aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites. It’s in the CR2000 Series, and part of that Ferocious line, it’s meant to give you better edge strength, smoother surface finishes, and reliable behavior in precision CNC milling, applications
Built from premium solid carbide, the CR2006.060-S has CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry, for getting chips out efficiently and keeping cutting forces down a bit. The corner radius setup helps durability overall, because it reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge, which in turn minimizes chipping and supports improved surface finish quality. Then the ZrN coating adds more wear resistance, reduces built-up edge, and helps extend tool life when you’re working with aluminum and other non-ferrous materials.
