Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2512 has a 5/16” diameter 2-flute solid carbide square end mill, made for a pretty serious max material removal and good surface precision in aluminum , other non ferrous metals and plastics. It comes from the ferocious series, so it’s for machinists who want top notch performance, even when they push extreme feed rates a bit too far.
It’s manufactured from premium sub micro grain carbide, and the 2512 has a 55° high helix angle, for better chip evacuation, lower cutting forces, and a clean, almost polished looking finish. The polished cutting edges and free cutting geometry help reduce built up edge , while still keeping outstanding tool life especially during high speed CNC work where everything happens fast.
