The CGS Tool 2515 has a 5/16” diameter 2 flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made for maximum material removal, and surface precision in aluminum, non ferrous metals and plastics. It comes from the Ferocious Series , so it is really for machinists who want top tier results at extreme feed rates, not just “good enough”.
Built with premium sub micro grain carbide, the 2515 has a 55° high helix for better chip evacuation, which helps keep cutting forces down. You also get those clean surface finishes you expect, plus polished cutting edges and free cutting geometry that help reduce built up edges. Tool life stays impressive too even when things are running fast in high speed CNC work.
