The CGS Tool 2515-Shas a 5/16” diameter, 2 flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made for maximum material removal and surface precision, in aluminum, non-ferrous metals and plastics. It comes from the ferocious series, and it’s meant for machinists who want serious high performance at those extreme feed rates.
Built from premium sub micro grain carbide, the 2515-S has a 55° high helix, for chip evacuation that stays smooth, with reduced cutting forces, and really nice surface finishes. The polished cutting edges and a free-cutting geometry help cut down on built up edges while still keeping an exceptional tool life , even when you’re running high speed CNC jobs.
