Product Overview

The CGS Tool 2530 has a 1/2” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made for fast milling of aluminum and other non-ferrous metals, also plastics and composite materials, those usual tough parts people run on CNC. And yeah it’s part of the 2500 Series Ferocious line, so you get really strong chip removal, aggressive feed rates, plus good machining efficiency when the job is not exactly easy, you know, demanding CNC operations.
It is manufactured out of premium solid carbide and the 2530 uses CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry, which helps the chips clear out quicker, lowers the cutting forces, and keeps things more stable during machining. There is also this advanced free-cutting design, that supports some of the highest chip loads and feed rates per tooth you’ll see across the industry. So machinists can push productivity without trashing the surface finish. The cutting edges are uncoated, and they are tuned for aluminum and non-ferrous use, so material buildup stays lower and the cutting stays clean, consistent through the run.
