The CGS Tool 2530-S has a 1/2” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill that’s really built for high-speed cutting of aluminum, copper, brass, plastics, composites and other non-ferrous stuff. As part of the high-performance 2500 Series, Ferocious, It's aimed at delivering really solid material removal rates, cleaner surface finishes, and maximum output for tough CNC milling jobs that can be more demanding than average.
Made from premium solid carbide, the 2530-S includes CGS Tool’s own original 55° high helix geometry, which helps with quick chip evacuation, lowers cutting forces, and keeps machining stable even when spindle speeds are up. Then there’s the ZrN (Zirconium Nitride) coating on top, it helps keep stuff from sticking, reduces built-up edge, and gives you longer tool life especially when you’re working with aluminum or other non-ferrous alloys. With this combo, machinists can push aggressive feeds and higher chip loads while still staying precise, and staying consistent as well.
