The CGS Tool 2563 has a 3/4” diameter, 2 flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made for high speed machining of aluminum, copper, brass, plastics, composites , and other non-ferrous materials. And as part of the well known 2500 Series Ferocious it is meant to push exceptional material removal rates, kind of aggressive feed speeds, and strong cutting action in tough CNC milling work, specially when you need a longer reach than usual.
Built from top grade solid carbide, the 2563 comes with CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry. This is supposed to help with rapid chip evacuation, lower cutting forces, and better machining stability while you run it. It also has an advanced free cutting design that supports higher chip loads and more feed per tooth, so productivity goes up while the surface finish stays really good. Plus with a longer 6-inch overall length, you get extra reach for deep cavity machining and those awkward, hard to access features, all without really hurting cutting efficiency.
