Product Overview

The CGS Tool 2563-S has a 3/4” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It meant for high-speed machining of aluminum, copper, brass, plastics, composites, and other non-ferrous stuff. It’s part of the industry-leading 2500 Series Ferocious, and yeah it pairs extended reach with an aggressive cutting geometry and advanced coating tech, so overall productivity stays strong even when CNC work gets pretty demanding.
Made from premium solid carbide, the 2563-S has CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry giving really strong chip evacuation, lower cutting forces, and a smoother machining feel. The 6-inch overall length also helps with extra reach inside deep pockets cavities, and those hard-to-access machining zones. Plus the premium ZrN coating (Zirconium Nitride) helps limit material adhesion, cuts down on built-up edge, and improves wear resistance. That makes it especially useful for aluminum and other non-ferrous alloys, so machinists can run higher feed rates, push up chip loads , and still end up with better surface finishes.
