Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2566 has a 1” diameter , 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It is built for high-speed milling of aluminum, copper, brass, plastics, composites, and other non-ferrous things. And, as part of the high-performance 2500 Series Ferocious, it’s made to push exceptional material removal, aggressive feed rates, and strong machining efficiency all at once in hard CNC jobs.
Made from premium solid carbide, the 2566 uses CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix setup, which supports really good chip evacuation, smaller cutting forces, plus better machining steadiness. There’s a free-cutting configuration on it, so machinists can reach industry-leading chip loads, and feed rates per tooth too, which boosts productivity while keeping nice surface finishing. Also, the uncoated cutting edges are tuned for aluminum and non-ferrous materials, so you get less material buildup and cleaner, accurate cuts during the whole process.
