Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2566-S has a 1” diameter 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It is built for maximum performance in aluminum, copper, brass, plastics, composites, and other non ferrous materials. It’s also part of the industry-renowned 2500 Series Ferocious, so this high-performance tool is made to push exceptional material removal rates, more aggressive feed speeds, and better machining efficiency during high speed CNC milling jobs.
Made from premium solid carbide, the 2566-S includes CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry; it helps with faster chip evacuation, lower cutting forces, and a smoother cutting motion. On top of that, the ZrN (Zirconium Nitride) coating supports less material adhesion, reduces built-up edge, and improves wear resistance, which is especially useful when machining aluminum and other non-ferrous alloys. With this mix, machinists can run higher spindle speeds and feed rates, while still keeping great surface finishes and solid dimensional accuracy.
